Overview

This role is for a passionate Head of Learning – Visual Arts.

Heads of Learning at St Leonard’s College are integral to the curriculum leadership team, reporting to the Principal through the Director of Academic Development. Their responsibilities include supporting the College’s Mission, Vision, and Values, developing exemplary teaching strategies, enhancing ICT use, promoting curriculum initiatives, and fostering excellent communication and cohesion within the faculty.

While the teaching component of this role is permanent, the Head of Learning position is a tenured position for up to three years.

This is a full-time position, commencing Friday 24 January 2025, the new staff induction day.

An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
    3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
    4.     5. Remuneration for any position at St Leonard’s College is in accordance with the St Leonard’s College Agreement 2023.
