Overview

Through our cocurricular program, students gain a sense of their place in the world and how they can make meaningful contributions to society.

Every activity is carefully and considerately designed to further each individual’s intellectual, personal, physical, social and emotional growth and development.

Our Coaches must show a keen interest and enthusiasm for Sport Education and must be energetic, self-motivated and driven. It is essential that coaches are friendly, confident and well-presented and have a passion for working with children.

This is a casual role and Coaches must be available from 3.45pm to 7.00pm (not the entire time, but have availability that can be discussed) for training at the College. Ages U12 to U18, boys or girls teams.  Then also availability for evening games either Tuesday or Wednesday evening (6.30pm onwards) or Saturday mornings between 8.00am to 11.00am.

1. 1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
   2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
   3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
   4.    5. Remuneration for any position at St Leonard’s College is in accordance with the St Leonard’s College Agreement 2023.
