Meetings for each group are conveniently scheduled during lunchtime, making it easy for students to participate without disrupting their regular school day.
The Environmental Action Group operates throughout the year, offering a consistent and engaging experience for participants. Our inclusive approach ensures that everyone is welcome, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility.
Our students’ achievements speak volumes about their commitment to environmental stewardship. Initiatives like school sustainability assessments, the introduction of coffee cup recycling, and the creation of a rooftop garden for Lennie’s Van showcase our College’s dedication to making a difference. Additionally, the group’s collaboration with the Social Action Council enables funds to be secured for projects that address specific community needs.
St Leonard’s College is deeply committed to shaping a greener and more sustainable future. The Social Action Group inspires positive change and instils a lifelong passion for environmental responsibility in the next generation.
