The Ethics Olympiad program provides an unparalleled opportunity for students in Years 6 to 12 to engage in meaningful discussions on real-life ethical issues.”
It cultivates awareness, sharpens critical thinking skills, encourages civil discourse, fosters international engagement, and nurtures an appreciation for diverse perspectives.
Unlike traditional debates, students defend their chosen positions, showcasing thoughtful, deep, and perceptive analysis.
The online competition is open to students in Years 6 to 12, with divisions for Junior, Middle, and Senior levels. Teams excelling in the Middle and Senior competitions earn coveted invitations to the International Finals. As part of our commitment to excellence, St Leonard’s College hosts in-person training days, providing a valuable opportunity for students to refine their skills and engage with like-minded peers from other schools.
Our students become articulate advocates for the principles they hold dear.
Students gather once a week at lunchtime over two terms, preparing for the thrilling competitions that await.
