At St Leonard’s College, we proudly foster a spirit of healthy competition and community engagement through our vibrant House System.”
All students, from Prep to Year 12, are integral members of one of our six unique houses: Allen, Cullen, Forster, McMeekin, Munro, and Newman.
Throughout the academic year, students eagerly participate in the much-loved House Events such as House Swimming, Cross Country, Athletics, and Music (for Years 5 to 12 students). These competitions showcase student involvement and commitment as they passionately support their respective Houses with unwavering enthusiasm.
Additionally, our House System offers a diverse array of events catering to individual interests and talents. From House Art, Chess, and Dance to Debating, Social Action, Olympics, and Adventure Races, every student has the chance to represent their House and shine in their chosen field; celebrating their individual strengths as part of a larger House community.
Participation in House Activities goes beyond competition; it cultivates a strong sense of belonging and community across multiple age groups. Students embrace the opportunity to engage with and learn from other years levels while showcasing their talents and abilities. Our students benefit from the camaraderie and mutual support fostered within their Houses, creating lasting connections and memories throughout their academic journey.
