This cocurricular activity requires dedication and a strong work ethic. It is as physically demanding as any other mainstream sport and is one of the fastest growing team-based athletic sports. 

St Leonard’s College is the largest, most successful school cheerleading program in Victoria. Starting out from a small group of dedicated pom athletes with a couple of mats, we have grown to a large program where we train over 50 girls and boys in all elements of cheerleading. 

We strive to be the best, most creative, talented, hardworking, educational, successful and inspiring cheer family in the country; creating a home away from home, that allows our students to establish lifelong friendships, develop great self-esteem and a unique set of skills, learn about health and fitness, and having a lot of fun doing it.  

We hold our students to a high standard in attendance, work ethic, attitude, and sportsmanship, and encourage a positive attitude to learning.

We offer teams ranging from Years 1 to 12 at all levels from Beginner Competitive (for those who are new and just want to have fun) through to Advanced (competing in Levels 1, 2 and 3).
