Peter Clague – Principal, BA, MBA (Dist)
Peter has led three prestigious schools, having served as Executive Principal of Kristin School (NZ) and Headmaster of Bromsgrove School (UK) before joining St Leonard’s College in 2022. A past President of the Association of Heads of Independent Schools and member of the IB World Heads Council, he is also a recipient of a National Honours Award for Services to Independent Education.

Lisa Slingsby – Deputy Principal, BEd Studies, BA, MEd
Lisa has worked in Independent, Catholic and Government schools throughout Queensland and Victoria. Alongside her love of teaching in the Science and Mathematics fields, she has held a range of pastoral and curriculum leadership positions. Lisa joined the College in 2011 as the Head of Senior School before becoming Deputy Principal.

Felicity Hutton – Head of Junior School (ELC – Yr 4), BEd, MEd
Felicity is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in both independent and government schools. She has served at the College for over two decades. Holding senior leadership positions since 2014, she assumed the role of Head of Junior School in 2018.

Pat Kenny – Head of Middle School (Yrs 5 – 9), DipTeach, GradDip (Outdoor Ed), MEd
Pat has held several leadership positions across many Independent Schools. With a background in Primary education, he began his leadership as the Head of Junior School before moving into the Head of Middle School role in 2018. In 2022, he was appointed the Acting Principal of the College. With a passion for authentic learning experiences, Pat enjoys his daily interaction with the students.

For over 20 years John has held numerous leadership positions in both independent and government schools. He has a passion for pastoral care and his leadership style combines expertise in student management with a caring, compassionate approach that fosters positive relationships and builds nurturing educational environments.

Tim Barlow – Director of Technology Innovation, BSc, DipEd
A member of staff since 2006, Tim has held leadership positions across most areas of the College. He is an award-winning digital transformation and eLearning specialist and uses his expertise to oversee all aspects of technology and innovative practice.

Susanne Haake – Director of Academic Development, BA, PGradDA, DipEd, GCert, MED
Susanne joined St Leonard’s in 2011. Prior to this, she worked at an independent school in the western suburbs. In her time at the College, she has worked as a VCE English teacher, Director of eLearning and now Director of Academic Development.

Charles Neave – Director of Pedagogy, BA, GDipEd, GDipMus, MA
Charles’ international experience includes working as a Head of English in Kuwait, and a Deputy Headmaster in London for 10 years. More recently in Australia, Charles worked as a consultant supporting NSW school leaders in pedagogical initiatives; as well as working on projects for the Victorian, Queensland and Tasmanian education departments.

Sally Northcroft – Director of Cocurriculum, BSc, MSc
Sally joined the College in 2022. With a teaching qualification in Physical Education and a Masters in Exercise Science, Sally’s passion for education lies with having worked in schools in both leadership and teaching positions for the last 25 years. Sally has also worked in the university sector in elite sports and pastoral care roles.

David has extensive experience in commercial site management with proven expertise in construction project management and landscape architecture. He has overseen the College’s most significant and sophisticated building projects to date, including the multi-award-winning Inspiring Innovations development.

Anna is a senior marketing and communications professional with experience spanning global and national brands. She brings expertise in strategy and management, branding, digital marketing, e-commerce, social media and more. She joined the College in 2018.

Georgina Moore – Director of Finance, BEc (Accounting), CA ANZ
Georgina is the Director of Finance and Company Secretary for the College and its charitable subsidiaries. Georgina is a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ and has over 30 years of experience across Manufacturing, Banking and the Education sector. Georgina joined the College in 2019.

Felicity has extensive experience in the independent school sector, including her previous role at Independent Schools Victoria, spanning 13 years, where she led the Employment Relations Team. Felicity has expertise in all areas of employment relations including performance development, workforce planning, and change management.

Lucy commenced at the College in 2012 following 15 years at the University of Melbourne in admission, business analysis, and governance roles. She is passionate about education and enjoys assisting families in navigating the school selection process to find the best fit for their child’s education.
