This role is for an experienced and committed teacher of Science, in particular Chemistry.

The role is a fixed term position encompassing the following.

  • First seven weeks of Term 4 2023, part time role, FTE 0.48.
    This will be teaching two classes Unit 2 VCE Chemistry and Year 11 IBDP Chemistry, commencing Monday 02 October 2023, covering staff members on long service leave.
    Due to the nature of the timetable this role is across 9/10 day of the College fortnightly timetable.

Full time for this period may be considered.

  • Full time role commencing Monday 20 November 2023. This period, ending Thursday 14 December, is the College transition period.
  • 2024 full time position, FTE (Full Time Equivalent) 1.00, commencing Tuesday 23 January 2024 and ending Wednesday 11 December 2024, covering staff members on parental leave.

Classes for the full-time role are yet to be allocated, and will be junior and senior Science classes, including some senior Chemistry classes.

An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
  4.
