Library Technician

Responsible for providing access to the physical and virtual library collections and services, providing the clerical and technical support, as well as reference and information services, needed for the effective and efficient running if College libraries.

Permanent part time term time, Full Time Equivalent (FTE) 0.60, commencing Tuesday 23 January 2024, the new staff induction day.

Three days per week, including Fridays and two days from Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Consideration would be given to spreading the hours over four days.

The College reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.

1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
4. 5. Remuneration for any position at St Leonard’s College is in accordance with the St Leonard’s College Agreement 2023.
