An exciting leadership opportunity at the College for the enhancement of wellbeing initiatives.

The Head of Wellbeing is a challenging and rewarding position that promotes wellbeing across the College. In collaboration with the Heads of Year, the Head of Wellbeing provides oversight, direction, and support for wellbeing programs across all schools, including curricular and co-curricular, scheduled and ad-hoc. The role also facilitates wellbeing education and information for parents and staff.

This is a permanent full-time position. While the teaching component of this role is permanent, the Head of Wellbeing position is a tenured position for up to three years, as per the contract of employment.

This role commences as soon as practical on or before the start of term 2, Monday 15 April 2024.

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
  4.   5. Remuneration for any position at St Leonard’s College is in accordance with the St Leonard’s College Agreement 2023.
