This role is for an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher of Drama.

The position will suit a teacher who is passionate about teaching a variety of year levels from years 5 to 12. Experience in teaching Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Drama/Theatre Studies and/or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Theatre, would be considered advantageous, although not essential. Experience teaching Private Speech and Drama would also be favourable. Graduate teachers are also encouraged to apply.

The curricular and cocurricular Drama programs at St Leonard’s College are extensive and held in high regard. The Drama faculty is seeking an innovative and passionate educator who will thrive in a vibrant and high calibre Drama environment. Working in world class facilities, including the college’s Leonardian Centre, this position offers an exciting opportunity for an educator eager to excel in a collaborative, progressive and energetic environment.

The teaching load for 2024 would include a variety of Drama classes from years 5-10 and directing the Middle School Play (years 7-9) as part of St Leonard’s Hart Theatre Company.

This is a permanent full-time position, commencing at the start of the 2024 school year, Tuesday 23rd January, the new staff induction day.

The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
