Two roles for outstanding and enthusiastic early childhood assistants.

There are two roles available, both in College staff term time, giving access to all term breaks.

Preferred start date, 23 January 2023, the new staff induction day, however this is negotiable.

The roles are

  • A permanent part time role, Full Time Equivalent (FTE), 0.855. Hours are five days per week; Monday to Friday 11.00am to 6.00pm, in term time.
  • A 12-month fixed term part time role, Full Time Equivalent (FTE), 0.618. Hours are five days per week; Monday to Thursday 11.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 11.00am to 6.00pm, in term time. This role is covering a staff member taking a different role.

  1. Applicants are required to supply the name, address and telephone number of three referees, two of whom must be able to comment on the applicant’s professional work (or training), during the past five years.
  2. An employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required to be undertaken by any persons working in the field of education who may come into contact with children without direct supervision. The WWCC is valid for a five (5) year period and the VIT for one year.
  3. The successful applicant will be required to produce original copies (from which a photocopy will be made) of transcripts of qualifications claimed.
  4.
