Student Reflections

Some of our St Leonard’s College Years 5 and 6 students share their reflections below.”
Year 6 Student, Kristian, emailed the below message to his teachers unprompted:
“I just want to say a huge thank you to you all. You are all helping me to become an amazing person. You are all incredible role models. All of you help St Leonard’s College to become an amazing school. Before I came to St Leonard’s in year 3, I was bullied very heavily, and when I came to St Leonard’s I saw how welcoming everyone is. That’s all because of you. You’re shaping St Leonard’s to become the Education for Life.”  Kristian, Year 6

Year 6 Student Reflections

“I really enjoy Years 5 and 6 as it gives me a much-needed sense of independence which allows me to have a smooth transition into secondary school. It’s very visible to me that my peers and other students in these year levels value their learning as they understand that these are very beneficial years. It almost feels as if it is one big year level, yet there are more opportunities to collaborate with more people which in my eyes, truly makes it all the more enjoyable!”  Eddy, Year 6
“My highlights of Year 6 were the Canberra trip, CIPSSA Netball and Camp Ibis.”  Ruby, Year 6

Year 5 Student Reflections

“My Year 5 highlight was going on camp with my friends and doing fun activities. I especially loved jetty jumping.”  Teagan, Year 5
“My highlight in 2023 was meeting new, amazing friends and getting taught by different teachers.”  Lachlan, Year 5
