Designed for students in Years 5 to 12, our interschool netball journey is a dynamic and enriching experience for sporting enthusiasts.”
Years 5 and 6
For our younger athletes in Years 5 and 6, we offer a mixed-gender netball experience, although historically, no boys have chosen to participate. This program is part of the winter season, running during terms 2 and 3 as part of the Coeducational Independent Primary Schools Sports Association (CIPSSA) competition. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to develop their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and inclusive environment.
Years 7 to 12
As students progress into Years 7 to 12, our netball program transitions to a girls-only competition with the Association of Coeducational Schools (ACS). This is a fantastic platform for young women to further refine their netball prowess, build lasting friendships, and embrace the spirit of healthy competition. The Year 7 to 12 netball season also takes place during the winter months, spanning terms 2 and 3.
At St Leonard’s College, we are committed to providing a nurturing and empowering environment for our students. Our netball program not only focuses on skill development but also emphasizes the values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience.
Netball Club
In addition to the above mentioned interschool netball opportunities, we also offer a Netball Club as part of our Club Sport cocurricular program (which requires a membership and/or participation fee). Click here to learn more.
