Our equestrian competitors form a close-knit, community-based team that receives unwavering support and recognition from the College. Beyond local competitions, our dedicated riders compete at the national level, showcasing their passion and skill on a broader stage. 

This small yet passionate group of eventing riders excels in their pursuits and shares their expertise within the tight-knit community they’ve built. The team dynamic allows senior members to serve as positive role models for their younger peers, creating a supportive environment where everyone can thrive and grow. 

Led by our Equestrian Coordinator, participants meet on a needs basis, ensuring personalised attention and guidance. 

In recent years, our equestrian team achieved remarkable success, securing strong placings in the Victorian Equestrian Inter-schools Series for dressage and show-jumping at the Senior Preliminary level, held at Boneo. In 2020, this marked a historic milestone for St Leonard’s College as our students earned the privilege to represent Victoria in the prestigious Australian Interschool Championships in Sydney.
