Our Mountain Bike Camp, open to students from Years 7 to 12, is where the thrill of the ride meets the beauty of the outdoors. It’s the ultimate adventure for those seeking to take their mountain biking skills to new heights.”
St Leonard’s College is proud to offer this unique opportunity for students to ride, learn, and grow in an environment that encourages exploration, skill development, and the joy of mountain biking.
Held during school holidays in September and/or December, this extension program builds on the mountain biking skills introduced in our core Outdoor Education (OED) program. The fun trails, obstacles, and challenges on our site, combined with evening workshops and maintenance clinics conducted by our expert staff, ensure that every participant experiences growth in both skill and confidence.
The camp is set against the breathtaking backdrop of Camp Ibis, serving as our base and accommodation hub for the program. Beyond the campsite, students venture to different mountain bike parks in the surrounding Gippsland area, guided by our knowledgeable staff. With a variety of trails catering to all levels of experience, our program is designed to challenge and inspire riders to push their boundaries and discover new possibilities.
The Mountain Bike Camp is more than just an adrenaline-pumping adventure; it’s an opportunity to create lasting connections with like-minded individuals across different year levels. Strengthening friendships, fostering camaraderie, and sharing the love for the outdoors, our camp provides an enriching experience that extends beyond the trails.
