Pat travelled to New Delhi and Mumbai to foster relationships with schools, educational leaders, and prospective families, furthering the College’s commitment to global collaboration.

The visit, conducted in partnership with AEAS, was filled with enriching experiences. Pat reflected on his time in India, noting the exceptional quality of the schools and individuals he encountered.

“It has been an action-packed week in New Delhi and Mumbai. I’ve had the opportunity to visit some amazing schools like The British School, New Delhi and Suncity School Gurgaon . Both schools were outstanding, with excellent facilities and passionate teachers, leaders, and students. It was certainly a highlight to meet some impressive students and student leaders.”

A key component of the trip included engagements organised by International Education – Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade). These sessions provided a platform for discussions on pedagogy and leadership structures with visionary principals and educational leaders.

“The opportunity to build a deeper understanding of Indian schools, as well as to share insights into pedagogy and leadership, was personally rewarding,” Pat said.

The week concluded with dynamic sessions in both cities, connecting with education agents, potential students, and their families. We are proud to see St Leonard’s College represented internationally, strengthening our ties with the global education community.
